Bengtskär Lighthouse and Rosala Viking Centre

Departure: Turku, bus station’s charter bus dock number 10 at 8:35 am. We will drive through charming countryside scenery, passing Sauvo and continuing to Kimito Island, heading to its southern tip, Kasnäs. Along the way, we’ll enjoy beautiful sea views and cross the impressive Lövö Bridge.

The vessel: At 10:30 am, we will board a Wilson Charter vessel in Kasnäs. The comfortable vessel will take us through the stunning Archipelago Sea towards Rosala Island.

Rosala Viking Centre: Upon arrival, we will visit the Rosala Viking Centre, traveling back a thousand years to the end of the Iron Age and Finland’s legendary Viking era. Guests can explore the museum independently and enjoy a delicious fish soup lunch in the atmospheric Chieftain’s Hall.

Bengtskär Lighthouse: After lunch, the journey continues aboard the same vessel to Bengtskär Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in the Nordic countries. Upon arrival, there will be a guided introduction outside the lighthouse. Guests can then explore the lighthouse independently, admire the lens system, and optionally enjoy afternoon coffee at the lighthouse café (self-paid).

Return journey: The return trip begins around 3:40 pm, with an estimated arrival back in Kasnäs by 5:00 pm. We will then drive to Turku, arriving by 7:15 pm.
