Kasnäs-Örö-Bengtskär boat trip: Embark on a maritime adventure from Kasnäs to Örö Fortress Island and the majestic Bengtskär Lighthouse. Immerse yourself in the stunning archipelago scenery and witness the vibrant spring birdlife as our boat glides through the pristine waters.

Örö Fortress Island, lunch, and guided tour: Upon arrival at Örö, a unique island within the Archipelago National Park, you’ll be greeted by the island’s rich history. Formerly a restricted military fortress, Örö now offers visitors a glimpse into its fascinating past. Explore the well-preserved bunkers, gun towers, and other intriguing structures. Marvel at the island’s untouched nature, home to a diverse array of flora and fauna. After a delicious buffet lunch, join a guided nature walk and admire the rare pasque flowers that carpet the island. Learn about Örö’s unique characteristics and captivating history.

Bengtskär Lighthouse and its common eiders: In the afternoon, we’ll journey towards the magnificent Bengtskär Lighthouse, the tallest in the Nordic countries and is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year. This secluded island is a haven for hundreds of common eiders during the spring. Explore the lighthouse, learn about its fascinating history, and gain insights into the lives of these remarkable birds. Enjoy the freedom to explore the rocky cliffs and climb the lighthouse tower. As evening descends, savor a delectable dinner and unwind in the sauna before retiring to your room with breathtaking sea views.

Saturday, May 16th

Bengtskär’s famous fish soup: Start your day with leisure time to soak up the authentic atmosphere of the lighthouse island and relax by the sea amidst Finland’s most beautiful landscapes. Before departing, indulge in Bengtskär’s renowned fish soup, a local delicacy that will tantalize your taste buds. Complement your meal with a delightful coffee and sweet bun.

Return: In the afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., we will commence our journey back to the mainland. We will arrive in Kasnäs at approximately 4:45 p.m. and continue our journey towards Turku. We will arrive in Turku around 6:30 p.m.
