DAY 1 – Turku Treasures

Your journey begins in Turku, the charming old capital of Finland. You’ll explore the historical streets, where the past harmoniously coexists with the present. Turku is a city of culinary delights, with its excellent restaurants serving up local and international flavors. Visit the banks of the River Aura and uncover hidden gems in numerous museums. Enjoy archipelago tastes at Turku Market Hall and explore the atmosphere of Turku. If you want to live like a local try transportation local way by taking the Föli water bus! If you are interested in brewery culture find yourself at Brewery Restaurant Koulu. For the history enthusiast, we recommend heading to Fortuna Quartier where you find picturesque Café Qwensel and the Pharmacy Museum.

DAY 2 – Idyllic Naantali

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, you will start on a unique journey from Turku to Naantali at 11.00 am from Linnankatu 40. Nostalgic steamship Ukkopekka offers stunning archipelago views during the two-hour voyage. Lunch and other snacks are available onboard the ship.

In Naantali, you will have two hours to discover the enchanting wooden town’s picturesque old quarter. Naantali is an old convent town, offering a unique blend of history and coastal allure. Tourism started here in the 15th century when locals accommodated and catered the pilgrims.

The mix of the old town and guest harbor area creates a vibrant atmosphere to be found nowhere else. We recommend you taste the best waffles in the world at Café Amandis. Insider tip, take a stroll or have a picnic on the rocks of Kuparivuori Hill and enjoy the most Instagrammable views of Naantali and the archipelago. After a sunny visit in Naantali, you are ready to get back to Turku by Ukkopekka steamship, leaving at 03.00 pm.

DAY 3 – Nagu's Archipelago Charms

Today, after breakfast, you will set course aboard a M/S Norrskär to Nagu in the heart of the Finnish Archipelago. The ship departs at 09.30 am from Läntinen Rantakatu 37. There are snacks and cold beverages available onboard the ship.

Nagu is a small, idyllic archipelago town that embodies the essence of coastal Finland. You’ll find numerous charming cafes and restaurants serving up exceptional local cuisine. Nagu also boasts a nice beach where you can soak up the archipelago sun or hire a kayak to get a different perspective of the seaside town. Stroll along the small boulevard lined with shops and immerse yourself in the laid-back island ambiance. It’s a perfect day for those seeking authentic archipelago experiences. You’ll have four hours in Nagu before the return trip back to Turku at 04.00 pm on the same ship and from the same place.

DAY 4 – Turku revisited

Your journey nears its conclusion. After breakfast checking out from hotel. Now you have time to leisurely stroll along the River Aura, visit different museums, or simply indulge in the city’s culinary delights. Turku offers endless possibilities! If you still have energy, check out the new and trendy Kakola Hill area with its many local foodie experiences.

The maritime center has a considerable collection of museum vessels: two tall sailships, four naval ships, and several smaller vessels, ranging from a steam harbor tugboat to a police boat.

The Turku Market Hall was opened to the public in the centre of Turku in 1896 and it is the second oldest in Finland. The shops in the market hall range from the oldest ones in Turku to brand new. They offer a wide selection of delicacies, but also the building itself is worth visiting. It is a gem of a Finnish building tradition and in the highest protection class as a highly valuable cultural historical site.

Moominworld is a popular theme park in Naantali, based on the beloved Moomin characters created by Finnish author Tove Jansson.
